In this first aid course, all basic first aid procedures are examined, including what to do if you come across an emergency situation, how to treat various types of casualties and how to record any incidents that have taken place.
This course covers topics such as how and when to use a first aid box, how to use an AED, when to call an ambulance and goes into details about how to handle different emergency situations that may emerge in a care home.
This first aid course follows guidelines and procedures issued by the British Red Cross, St. John Ambulance and the latest Resuscitation Council Guidelines (UK).
This title can be used for induction training of appointed persons and all other staff as required by the Care Certificate.
