England’s test and trace system, won’t be fully operational until the end of June. This is the system that has been designed to identify people who may have been exposed to others who have tested positive for coronavirus. UK prime minister Boris Johnson, said that by the 1st of June, the system would be in place and be able to track 10,000 people a day using text, phone and email, but according to Dido Harding, leading the NHS Test and Trace scheme, this will not be the case until at least the end of June.
