Designed exclusively for those working with or providing care to adults with learning disabilities, this title aims to both develop an understanding of the different forms of abuse, whilst considering where abuse can take place. It goes on to introduce the concept of neglect and self-neglect, and improves awareness of the signs and symptoms of both abuse and neglect to aid in its recognition. Also explored is identifying what to do if abuse or neglect is suspected.
